Chapter 25

The manicured lawns of the estate erupted into a deafening, chaotic war zone. Dozens of Commission mercenaries poured through the breached west gate, firing automatic weapons wildly into the shadows. But they were entirely unprepared for the coordinated, devastating counterattack orchestrated by Raffaele.
Raffaele stood on the elevated stone terrace, the very same spot where Victoria had shoved Noah just weeks prior. Now, it was a sniper's perch. He fired with ruthless, calculated precision, dropping mercenaries before they could even reach the secondary barricades.
"They are pushing the service entrance!" a capo yelled, returning fire from behind a marble fountain.
"Collapse the flank!" Raffaele ordered, sprinting across the terrace. He moved with the terrifying, fluid grace of an apex predator, entirely unfazed by the bullets chewing into the stone around him.
He reached the service corridor just as a heavy breaching charge blew the steel doors inward. Five heavily armored hostiles stormed through the smoke. Raffaele didn't seek cover. He stepped directly into their path, unleashing a relentless barrage of suppressing fire that neutralized the entire squad in seconds.
Despite the mounting casualties, the Commission forces kept coming, driven by the massive bounty Salvatore had placed on Raffaele’s head.

"Boss, they are using heavy mortars on the front gates! The perimeter is failing!" Vincent shouted over the radio.
Raffaele’s jaw locked tight. "Fall back to the mansion interior. We bottleneck them in the foyer. No one breaches the upper floors."
