Chapter 21

The absolute destruction of Arthur Sinclair was executed with a quiet, terrifying precision that completely circumvented the federal investigation. Dominic did not send a heavily armed strike team to the Sinclair estate; he utilized the very financial leverage Arthur had attempted to destroy. Within forty-eight hours of the hotel raid, Dominic’s cyber division systematically routed Arthur’s massive, offshore campaign funds into accounts directly linked to human trafficking cartels, tipping off Interpol simultaneously.

Arthur Sinclair, anticipating a bloody Mafia war, instead woke up to his estate surrounded by federal agents holding arrest warrants for international money laundering. He was hauled away in handcuffs, his political shield completely shattered by his own ambition, entirely neutralized without Dominic firing a single shot.

The bright, cinematic sunlight poured over the Falcone estate the following morning, illuminating a sanctuary completely devoid of tension. The threat was officially erased.

Dominic sat in his private study, the heavy oak doors closed. He wore a crisp, tailored suit, reviewing the final integration reports for the newly acquired union contracts. The harsh, angular lines of his face were relaxed.

The heavy doors clicked open, and Elena stepped inside. She wore a soft, elegant cashmere sweater and tailored slacks, completely shedding the uniform of a servant. Her right arm, still recovering, was free of the sling. She looked breathtakingly beautiful.

"The news is reporting that Senator Sinclair was denied bail," Elena noted, her American accent soft but steady.

"A fitting conclusion," Dominic murmured, standing up from his mahogany desk. He walked slowly toward her, his deeply masculine presence filling the bright room. "He built a cage for himself."

"Is the syndicate safe?" she asked, her expressive brows lifting slightly.

"The syndicate is untouchable," Dominic promised, stopping inches from her. He reached out, his artistic, tattooed fingers gently tracing the line of her jaw. "And so are you."
